Eligibility

FSL's fantasy sports contests are open to persons who have a registered account with FSL, are at least 18 years of age at time of registration, and are an eligible Legal Resident of the United States or Canada. Alabama and Nebraska Legal Residents must be at least 19 years of age at time of registration. In jurisdictions where a higher age limit may apply, the user will not be eligible for prizes unless they meet the higher local requirement. Legal Residents of the states of Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, and Vermont, as well as Legal Residents of Quebec are ineligible to open or maintain accounts, participate in contests, or win prizes on FSL. Employees of Fantasy Day Sports Corp. are not eligible to win prizes in contests offered by FSL.

Legal Requirements

All local, state, federal, and provincial laws and regulations apply. Contests at FSL may not be used for any form of gambling. Taxes for all prizes won on FSL, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. Fantasy sports contests on FSL are void where prohibited by law. Contests offered by FSL are designed to be in full compliance with the UIGEA of 2006. Any contests that are found by FSL to not be in compliance with the UIGEA will be voided or cancelled. Any individual fantasy teams found by FSL to be not in compliance with the UIGEA will be disqualified from the contest, and ineligible for any prizes.

Types of Contests

FSL offers various fee based fantasy sports contests, and promotional free contests. We offer an Instant Deposit Bonus with your initial deposit so you may try out our contests at no risk.

User Accounts

Users may open an account at fantasysportslive.com for free. We require certain information for opening an account and require that the user keep this information up to date. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details. To participate in a contest you must have an open account with FSL

Users may only open, maintain, control, or have access to a single funded FSL account. Multi-accounting is strictly prohibited. Users are only eligible for prizes in their initial funded account.

Funding Accounts

Accounts may be funded using the deposit methods available like major credit cards or PayPal. There is a $20 minimum and $600 maximum deposit limit. Additionally, no more that $1,000 may be deposited in less than a 7-day period to a User's account. For security reasons the funding method used must match your Name, Address, and or email address of your account.

Entering Contests

By entering a contest, the user accepts and agrees to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of FSL, which shall be final and binding. Additionally, the user accepts and agrees to the terms of the fantasysportslive.com's Terms of Use. A user must be logged in and have funds for any contests fees in their account at time of registration. A contest is entered once the registration button is pressed in the contest window, and all acknowledgements have been checked. The contest fee will be deducted from your account balance at that time. Once you have registered for a contest you will not be able to unregister for it. You have until the contest start time shown in the contest window to make your draft selections. You may return to the contest window at anytime prior to the start of a contest to adjust or update your draft. At the contest start time, your draft selections are frozen. Unselected draft positions will not be scored. You may not enter the same contest twice.

Ineligible Fantasy Teams

The fantasy team that you select for a contest on FSL must not consist entirely of players from a single team, game, or event. Our draft interface will indicate when you are not in compliance with this rule. If for any reason your fantasy team consists entirely of players from a single team, game, or event at the time the contest starts and draft is frozen, your contest entry will be disqualified, and you will not be eligible for any prizes for that contest. We will not refund your entry fee when disqualified for noncompliance with this rule. An incomplete fantasy roster is not considered ineligible, and will not be disqualified unless it does not contain fantasy players from multiple games or events.

Contests Cancellations

All contests with more than one entry at the scheduled start time shown in the contest window are official and will begin scoring. All contests with zero or one entry at the scheduled contest start time will be cancelled. If you are entered in a contest that is cancelled, your account will be refunded the amount of your entry fee. FSL reserves the right to cancel any contests with zero entries at anytime. FSL Reserves the right to cancel contests where excessive individual games or events have been canceled or postponed to where only one or fewer events or games from the contest list can be completed in a reasonable amount of time.

Contest Closure to New Registrations

Contests that receive the posted maximum number of entries will be closed to new registrations.

Contests with Live Scoring

We offer live scoring updates for baseball, basketball and pro football contests for the enjoyment of our users. You may view your fantasy team's score, and your standings in the contest window while the contest is running. The scores shown while very accurate are not official and are for informational purposes only. Official scores and results will be posted at the time of prize disbursement and may vary from those shown while the contest was running.

Contest Guaranteed Prizes

All completed contests on FSL will pay the guaranteed prize(s) shown in the contest lobby. In the event of a tie for any of the prize positions, the prize will be divided equally among those tied. Prizes will be credited to the user's account in most cases within one hour of the last game or event in the contest. We reserve the right to delay the prize disbursement to the following business day at our sole discretion.

Draft Methods

We currently offer Salary Cap, No Salary Cap and Automated draft methods on FSL. With the Salary Cap method, you draft a fantasy team of your choice whose total salary is less than or equal to the contest's salary cap limit. For the no salary cap method, you simply draft the fantasy team of your choice with no restrictions on salary. All participants in a contest use the same draft method, and draft from the same pool of players. It is possible for the same fantasy player to be drafted by multiple users in the same contest under the salary cap and no salary cap method. An automated draft is offered where you specify your positional draft order preference, and a fantasy team with no duplicate players to your opponent’s team is automatically selected. Other draft methods including live draft variations, and new salary cap types will be added over time.4

What is a Beginner League?

A beginner league is like a playground free from bullies. Enter away and never worry about someone from the leaderboard threatening your bankroll. In fact, all FSL players with more than 100 cash wins on our site, will be turned away at the gate to the beginner playground, and sent off to play with the big boys. Enjoy it while you can, as some day you might be the one locked out. The 101 cash wins will be a nice consolation prize though.

Fantasy Draft Pool

The fantasy players available to draft in contests on FSL are the top players from each game or event included in the contest game/event list. We will try to indicate player status for the game, but the user is responsible for determining the likelihood that an individual player will play in the contest listed game or event. For the Fantasy Baseball pitcher position, FSL will list the probable starters for the contest's listed games. In the event that a drafted player does not play in the contest game or event for any reason, the user will not receive any fantasy points for that position.

Trades, Free Agents, and Bench

At FSL you only select starting players for a single series of games or events. There is no trading, no free agents, or bench required. We also don't charge you for that stuff.

Game/Event Cancellations & Postponements

In the event that a scheduled game or event is canceled, preempted, or postponed for any reason, no points will be awarded for players in the canceled, preempted, or postponed game or event. It is the user's responsibility to be aware of possible postponements or cancellations and adjust their fantasy teams as required prior to the start of a contest. In the event of an in-game suspension where player statistics are official and will be counted towards their season totals, and an official box score is delivered via our feed prior to 2 hours after the last game in all leagues that day end, the fantasy scoring based on the official statistics will be counted.
